With a sandy cove with snack bar just a 5 minutes walk from the apartment, is the perfect for children.
TARRAGONA INFORMATION
A great attraction of the Tarragona area, and just 5 minutes drive from the rental apartment, is a World Heritage Site with extensive Roman archaeological remains, similar to Ampurias on the Costa Brava.
Tarragona is a picturesque medieval city, with a Cathedral and harbour. There is an excellent restaurant within a 5 minutes walk of the apartment, with many more to choose from in Tarragona.
Golf, pool and tennis courts are less than 10 minuets drive away, although the sandy cove is likely to be the greatest attraction for children. The large Aqua Park at Salou is a 20 minute drive and a treat for adults and children alike.
Slightly further South and well worth a visit is the Delta del Ebro (Ebre) Nature Park, which is a favourite of bird watchers (twitchers). A peaceful location with wide and almost deserted beaches served by small cafes during the Summer months. It is also the area where Spain grows its premium quality rice.
