We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Barcelona and among our favourite things throughout tours of museums, shopping, Tibidabo, and taking the metro was also coming home after a long day of walking (no car) and being able to put our feet up, watch real tv and feel the cool air conditioning instead of the hot crowded streets outside. The suggestions made were well decided and most of which we enjoyed. The location of the apartment also increased our ability to have a good time. Although we never made it into the water on the beach, we enjoyed walking along it almost every night. Although we found it difficult at first to locate a grocery store, with the use of citizens on the streets and my limited Spanish, we eventually found a good one. Among our favourite restaurants that we visited was the one along the beach that was suggested by Giles. The facilities in the apartment were exceptional to our needs.
