The area...Located at the beginning of la Barceloneta area.
Barceloneta is the seaside district of the city. Its origins trace back to 1447 when King Juan II ordered the construction of an embankment in order to join solid ground with the mythical Island of Mayans.

Now you can enjoy its clean beaches, wide promenades and narrow streets, the harbour…
This neighbourhood has plenty of tapas bars and excellent fish and paella restaurants !

The apartment is in a great location. The beach, with its palm trees is just a two minute walk to your left.
To your right, you are two minutes away from the harbour !

La Barceloneta is the next district on from the charming El Borne area with the Basilica Sta. Maria del Mar, Picasso Museum, narrow streets, designer boutiques and art galleries. Las Ramblas - the heart of Barcelona - is only a 20 min. walk away along the waterfront.

The nearest Metro is Linea 4 (stop "Barceloneta") and there are also several Bus stops very close to the apartment.

The apartment... Is on the ground floor in a quiet street. A 30 m2 studio, renovated in june'02. A small but fully equipped, clean, modern and comfortable place to stay.

Its wooden floors and beamed ceilings are in keeping with the studios typical of this neighbourhood.

The studio comprises an open plan kitchen and stylish living / dining room. There is a sofa bed for one person in the living room.
There is a separate double bedroom with en suite shower room.

Our comment..." Recommended for 1 person or a couple (with one child) , this apartment is the perfect place to stay to discover Barcelona as it's very close to many of the attractions that the city has to offer. A typical Barceloneta studio, just a stones throw from the beach.
