This completely New 2 Floor Apartment , with Roof Terrace and Parking, is in a newly developed area of Barcelona, in front of the Beach and within easy distance of The Gothic City Centre. Accommodates 4/5 People.

The area...Located in the seafront between the Olimpic Village and Diagonal Mar.

In 1992 Barcelona hosted the World Olympics .In 2004 Barcelona is proud to host the World International Forum. The area chosen for this event Diagonal Mar (under construction) - runs along the seafront to the right of the Olympic village and includes top quality hotels & shopping centre, and high standing buildings.

The apartment is not in the middle of this development but between it and the Olympic village; very near the beach and therefore nearer to the Gothic areas of Barcelona.
However it must be noted that as yet there are NO LOCAL BARS, CAFES OR SHOPS. We anticipate more local bussiness the nearer we get o 2004, but close to the apartment are several good hotels and a pharmacy. The nearest shops and restaurants are either in the new Diagonal Mar area or a short bus, metro or taxi (about 5 Euro) trip to the El Borne district (Gothic Quarter).

The advantages of choosing this apartment? It is modern, new and clean with lots of light and sea views from both inside and from the terrace. It has secure off-street parking for those with cars but excellent transport links for those without. You are perfectly located to enjoy both the beach and Barcelona's historic city centre.

Why not hire bikes and cycle along the beachfront, checking out the water sports facilities and pavilion bars? Stop for a seafood lunch at the near-by restaurants, "Els Pescadors" and "La Oca", and then either kickback on the beach or continue into town for some sightseeing.

Metro stop: 15 mins walk and a 10 min. ride into the centre.
Bus stop: 1 min walk.

The apartment...Situated on the 5th floor of a new building with a lift, private roof terrace (unfurnished at the moment), secure parking, and a small-enclosed communal garden.

It has two levels each of 45m2. The first level comprises of the living room, kitchen/diner and WC. Fantastic views of the sea and Barcelona itself.
The second level has the 2 bedrooms and a WC. One bedroom has twin beds and the other has a double, an ensuite bathroom and a small balcony. The doublebedroom is spacious enough to also have an extra camp bed, if requested (50 Euro/week).

The apartment was decorated in January 2002 in a comfortable modern style. With easy access to your private 45m2 roof terrace, you can relax with a book and a glass of "Rioja", sunbathe in privacy and enjoy the great views.

Our comment..." this apartment is perfect for 2 couples or a family with two kids, looking for a secure and quiet base from which to explore both the beach and the city.

Booking deposit	30% payable upon confirmation / contract date.
Balance	Balance amount (payable 45 days before entrance date).
Refundable damage deposit	300 Euros (to be refunded on your departure).
Minimum stay	4 nights.
More than 14 nights	10% off.
More than 28 nights	20% off.
